Bids have been submitted for five Boeing 747-400s that China Airlines is looking to remarket, FlightGlobal understands.
Talks are still in the early stages, but African airlines have shown interest in operating the aircraft, while part-out firms have also examined the widebodies.
MSNs 28709, 28710, 28711 and 28712 are all 1997-built, while 29030 left the factory in 1998, Flight Fleets Analyzer shows.
EastMerchant and AMS Aircraft Services were jointly appointed to remarket the widebodies for Taiwan's flag carrier.
