Proposed UK start-up Blue Fox Executive Airlines has revived plans to launch all-business-class transatlantic flights with 162-seat Boeing 767-300ERs.

The company is advertising for pilots and aims to begin operations in July with $80-90 million of start-up capital, according to founder Michael Lord-Castle. He envisages an eventual fleet of six leased aircraft, serving New York, Boston, Washington DC, Chicago, San Francisco and Los Angeles from London Stansted.

A previous attempt to establish the airline at London Gatwick was abandoned two years ago, but Lord-Castle says plans have been resurrected after identifying potential investors willing to "put in a substantial amount of money". He adds: "We have some money and are a long way ahead compared with where we were before."

In addition to 767 flight crew, the company has advertised for a chairman, operations manager and marketing director.
