Gert Reitsma has been appointed head of purchasing at engine manufacturer BMW Rolls-Royce, of Oberursel, Germany. He was formerly vice-president for procurement at defunct aircraft-manufacturer Fokker Aircraft of the Netherlands. Before that, he was vice-president and general manager at Interturbine Holland. Michael Corne has been named head of marketing and sales. Corne, formerly head of sales at Shannon Aerospace, based in Ireland, replaces Keith Redfern, who has returned to R-R in the UK. Before joining Shannon, Corne was area director for marketing at International Aero Engines in Connecticut, USA.
