All Nippon Airways will partner with Boeing’s 787 GoldCare programme to support new 787 customers with entry into service.
In a statement, Boeing says that the relationship will combine its deep knowledge of the aircraft with ANA’s maintenance and operational experience.
“Boeing values ANA’s accumulated experience and expertise with 787 operations and maintenance -- they are a leading operator of the world’s most technologically advanced airplane,” says Stan Deal, Boeing senior vice-president commercial aviation services. “That expertise will complement Boeing’s OEM knowledge and portfolio of services, which is the broadest and deepest in the industry.”
ANA, which was the launch customer for the 787, has 40 of the type in service, and a further 43 on order.
