James Morris has been named vice-president and general manager of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania-based Boeing Defense & Space Group's Helicopters division, succeeding Denton Hanford. Morris was formerly the division's assistant general manager and Hanford has taken responsibility for transition activities following the purchase by Boeing of Rockwell International's aerospace and defence units, to create Boeing North American, a wholly owned subsidiary.
