Lufthansa Technik (booth 2253) and Bombardier announced yesterday that business aircraft services provider ExecuJet Aviation Group has taken a 20% stake in their Lufthansa Bombardier Aviation Services LBAS is dedicated to the support of Bombardier business aircraft, providing maintenance and other services.
Swiss-headquartered ExecuJet offers aircraft charter, sales, management and maintenance services from locations in Europe, Australia, the Middle East and South Africa. A long-time customer of Berlin-based LBAS, ExecuJet will contribute sales and marketing support, aircraft management and fixed-base operator services and will have a representative on the LBAS board.
“This represents the logical next step in our development,” says LBAS managing director Andreas Kaden. “ExecuJet brings a new element to our business, allowing us to expand our client services.” 
Following the ExecuJet investment, Bombardier’s stake in LBAS is reduced to 29%, while Lufthansa Technik remains the majority shareholder with 51%.
