Bombardier has pushed back the first flight of its CS300 aircraft, due to unfavorable weather conditions in Mirabel.
In a short statement, the Canadian aircraft manufacturer says first flight will no longer take place on 26 February, but adds that “we expect it will take place very soon”.
The company had on 24 February confirmed first flight for the 135-160 seat CS300 for the 26th, pending optimal weather conditions. That came after it received an experimental flight permit from Transport Canada, and completed high speed taxi runs.
Bombardier has booked 243 firm orders for the CSeries, of which three-quarters are for the larger CS300.
