Bombardier is co-locating three regional support offices with its business aircraft service centers in Tuscon, Arizona; Hartford, Connecticut and Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
In addition, the airframer will deploy mobile teams to seven regions to perform unscheduled maintenance. Each team includes an avionics technician and a maintenance technician, which will bring a truck with tooling and equipment to carry out the repairs. These trucks include diagnostics equipment for each type of Bombardier's business jets.
In the next two months, Bombardier plans to send the maintenance crews to Van Nuys, California, Seattle, Denver, Chicago, Atlanta, Hartford and Fort Lauderdale. These teams will work with its existing round-the-clock customer response centers in Wichita and Montreal and eight service centers in the US.
