Bombardier is seeing a return to sustained growth in business aviation and predicts manufacturers will deliver a total 24,000 business jets in all segments in which it competes from 2011 to 2030.

In its annual 20-year forecast the Canadian airframer said that for the 10-year period to 2020, some 10,000 deliveries worth $260 billion are expected, followed by 14,000 deliveries worth $366 billion in the next decade.

While Bombardier is optimistic that the market has turned the corner and is gaining momentum, its 20-year forecast is down slightly from last year, when it predicted 26,000 deliveries for the 2010-29 period.

Bombardier's competitive segmentation includes light, medium and large jet categories.
