Bombardier is to set up a new factory service operation in Dubai to support and maintain its entire aircraft range in the important Middle East market. This brings its worldwide network of service bases to nine.
The new support operation, which will open in 2002, is a joint venture which includes the manufacturer, ExecuJet Aviation Group and Alpha 55 of Dubai. It will feature two maintenance bays capable of accommodating two Global Express ultra-long range business jets and two Challenger aircraft at the same time.
