Bombardier reached a few delivery milestones in June across two of its product lines - the Global and the Challenger.
The top-of-the-range Global family secured its 500th delivery when a long-range Global 6000 was handed over to French corporation Groupe Bolloré.
The first Global business jet entered service in 1999 following the delivery of a Global Express - predecessor to the 6000 - to US operator AirFlite. Deliveries of the super large Global 5000 - the entry level Global - began in 2005.

Meanwhile, the 400th Challenger 300 business jet was handed over to charter operator BJET. The nine-year-old super-midsize type - the best selling aircraft in this category - will join another Challenger 300 in service with the Russian company. BJET also operates a Learjet 60, Challenger 605, Challenger 850, Global 5000 and Global 6000.
Bombardier doubled its super-midsize stable in May with the launch of the Challenger 350 - an upgraded Challenger 300 with more powerful engines, larger windows and a redesigned interior.
Flight testing of the $25.9 million aircraft is already under way and certification is earmarked for the second quarter of 2014.
Bombardier says the Challenger 350 could eventually become its sole super-midsize offering if demand for the older type falls significantly.
