An undisclosed customer has ordered six Bombardier Learjet 75s worth a combined $81 million at list prices, the Canadian airframer says.
The deal increases the order backlog for the super-light category jet to 11 aircraft, including an order from London Air Services for five Learjet 75s, according to Flightglobal's Ascend Online database. The Learjet 75 was launched in May and updates the airframe of the Learjet 45XR with an improved version of the Honeywell TF731 turbofan.

Both the Learjet 75 and the smaller Learjet 70, which replaces the Learjet 40AR model, include the new Vision Flight Deck based on the Garmin 5000 cockpit suite.
Bombardier could introduce the Learjet 75 as early as mid-2013.
