Bombardier has finalised details of an £8.8 million ($16 million) grant from Northern Ireland regional government agency Invest NI towards production of Learjet 40 and Global 5000 assemblies in the country. The grant is part of a £33.5 million plan by Montreal, Canada-based Bombardier to increase subassembly work at the former Shorts plant in Belfast.

Turkish business jet charter company Air Sapphire has been heavily fined by the US government for flying a Gulfstream GIV to Russia without authorisation.
The Federal Aviation Administration has ordered inspections of the Gulfstream G500 and G600 fleet in response to a “quality escape” involving improperly installed engine-mounting hardware.
