Japan and South Korea have agreed to nearly double the number of flights between Tokyo and Seoul from May 2002 when a second runway opens at the Japanese capital's congested Narita airport. From May next year, airlines from Japan, South Korea and the USA will be able to split an allowance of 20 flights per day, up from the current 11.
