Brazilian carrier Flex, a successor to the former Varig operation, has received authorisation to resume flights temporarily after the carrier halted services a month ago.
The authorisation comes after the carrier was able to reschedule payments for its insurance policy and its sole Boeing 737-300.
A company source says is that Flex "continues to operate two daily flight pairs on behalf of Gol, before the grounding".
But he could not confirm that the company's underlying liquidity problems have been solved, indicating only that "creditors have accepted a new schedule for outstanding payments".
Flex emerged after the operations of bankrupt Varig were split. The debt-free portion eventually ended up as part of Gol.
