Bulgarian defence minister Nikolay Svinarov says the government wants to privatise eight military maintenance facilities owned by the state-owned Terem ordnance company. He says the government cannot guarantee future orders, adding that a private owner could possibly find new markets. The defence ministry owes more than $5.7 million in back wages to 3,200 Terem workers.
