BRAZIL BUYS E-190S

Embraer has sold two 190 airliners to the Brazilian government. The VIP-configured aircraft will be used to transport the country's president and senior government officials and will be operated by the Special Transportation Group of the Brazilian air force.

VIP HELICOPTER

The Bosnia and Herzegovina government has reconfigured its sole Mil Mi-17 military transport helicopter to a VIP role. The upgrade includes the installation of a Honeywell Bendix/King RDR-2000 weather radar, GPS navigation system and multifunction display. The cabin has been fitted with 12 luxury seats, small table, refrigerator and lavatory. The Mi-17, which is based at Rajlovac heliport near Sarajevo is the only VIP aircraft available for senior government officials and the three-member presidency of the government.

CESSNA ORDERS

Cessna received orders totalling nearly $750 million at the EBACE business aviation convention in Geneva, Switzerland last month. The tally includes 70 Citations, 14 Caravan single-engined turboprops and four piston singles.
