EBAA boss wanted

The European Business Aviation Association is seeking to appoint a new chief executive following the decision by the current post holder Brian Humphries to become part-time president of the Brussels, Belgium-based trade association. Humphries assumed the chief executive's position three years ago, having previously been EBAA chairman while also serving as managing director of Shell Aviation. EBAA will host its annual European Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition from 22-24 May in Geneva, Switzerland.

Nordam nails deal

Nordam has won its first contract to provide cabinetry to Cessna, for the Citation CJ4, with deliveries to begin in July from the company's new Wichita, Kansas facility.

Second Mustang

Cessna has placed the second Citation Mustang into service as a demonstrator and says it is on track to deliver 40 of the entry-level jets this year.

ADS-B deployment

Oregon is to deploy Sensis automatic dependent surveillance - broadcast ground-based transceivers at six airports under the state's Connect Oregon initiative.

Fifth S-76

Sikorsky subsidiary Associated Aircraft Group plans to place a fifth S-76 into its fractional-ownership fleet in June. Six managed S-76s act as back-ups for the fleet.

Execujet link-up

ExecuJet South Africa is to join forces with Avinode - an air charter marketplace - in a move that will offer clients instant electronic quotations and real-time availability of aircraft in its fleet, says ExecuJet.

In the cannes

The Legacy 600 executive jet has been certified to operate at Cannes-Mandelieu airport in the south of France, which has special landing and take-off requirements.
