Tay expansion
Dallas Airmotive has expanded its Rolls-Royce Tay repair and overhaul capability to include the 611-8C engine installed on Gulfstream 350 and 450 business jets. The -8C introduces full-authority digital engine control and other improvements.
Kingfisher talks
India’s Kingfisher Airlines is in talks with state-owned Hindustan Aeronautics and Eurocopter over the potential acquisition of helicopters for a country-wide charter service linking city centres with airports served by the carrier. Kingfisher chairman Vijaya Mallaya says that the indigenous Dhruv Advanced Light Helicopter (ALH) and a variety of Eurocopter types are being evaluated.

A Raytheon Hawker 800XP business jet will join the fleet of Arab Wings at the end of this month, says the Amman, Jordan-based operator’s director-general Ghassan Ali. The company, which began operations in mid-2005, plans to increase its fleet to seven aircraft by 2008.
