Soaking up the sunshine on the Gulfstream static is the G600, which is making its Farnborough debut.
The super-large-cabin, long-range business jet is on display alongside its smaller and shorter-range G500 stablemate – which returns to the show for the second time – the flagship G650ER, and the super-midsize G280.
The G600 on display is the programme's fifth and final flight-test aircraft. The production-representative model joined the certification campaign in August 2017 equipped with a full interior.

The flight-test fleet has recorded more than 2,000h, Gulfstream says, and the 6,500nm (12,000km) range aircraft is on track for certification by year-end, with service entry following in early 2019.
It will be preceded by the G500, which is slated for certification in the third quarter, leading to customer deliveries shortly after. The flight-test campaign for the 5,200nm-range aircraft has notched up over 5,000h, Gulfstream says.
Farnborough is set to become a significant part of Gulfstream’s global infrastructure. The airframer, headquartered in Savannah, Georgia, plans to erect a new service centre at the business aviation airport, known as TAG Farnborough, to support its growing fleet in Europe.
Scheduled to open in 2020, the new-build facility will have 20,439m2 (220,000ft2) of floor space and will accommodate up to 13 large-cabin aircraft “under one roof”, says Gulfstream.
