MTU Aero Engines The falling dollar kept half year revenues flat at €1.26 billion ($1.99 billion) for the German power­plant component maker, but EBITDA rose 8% to €194.5 million, net income soared 79% to €80.4 million and the outlook is stable. Chief executive Egon Behle says: "We have hardly been affected by the current adjustments to airline capacities, and the record volume of orders for new aircraft is helping to sustain our engine order backlog."
