CAE is to relocate two simulators to its new business aviation training centre under construction in Morristown, New Jersey. The Gulfstream IV and Sikorsky S-76B/C+ full-flight simulators will be moved from CAE SimuFlite’s Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas centre “to better meet market demand”, it says.

The Morristown centre is scheduled to open late next year equipped with the two devices and the first of two Dassault Falcon 7X simulators under CAE’s exclusive training agreement with Dassault. A convertible Falcon 900DX/EX and 2000DX/EX simulator with EASy cockpit will enter service in March 2007.

CAE will also modify a Bombardier Challenger 604 simulator installed at the aircraft manufacturer’s Montreal training centre to represent the new Challenger 605 with Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21 integrated flightdeck.

SimCom, meanwhile, is building a Cessna CitationJet Level C simulator for installation at its Orlando, Florida training centre in the second quarter next year. This will be followed
by a Beechcraft Beechjet 400A
in the fourth quarter and a Citation Encore in the second quarter of 2007.
