Taiwan salvage teams have finally recovered the cockpit voice and flight data recorders from the China Airlines Boeing 747-200 that crashed into the sea last month killing all 225 people on board. Taiwan's Aviation Safety Council says the recorders are in good condition. Since only about 10% of the wreckage has been recovered, the recorders are important to the investigation of the 25 May crash. The 22-year-old aircraft was operating as flight 611 between Taipei and Hong Kong when it broke apart and crashed into the Taiwan Strait just over 20min after take-off.
