Cessna has announced two sales of its hardy Caravan sales so far at the show. The robust tourer is popular throughout the region because of its versatility and low operating costs.
Susi Pudjiastuti, founder and namesake of Susi Air, the transport company which has helped with relief efforts all over Asia (FDN February 21, 2006), ordered a new Caravan at the show this week and well-known Australian businessman Bill Wyllie dubbed “The Smiling Tiger” and “Dollar Bill” by the press has just upgraded from a Cessna single engine piston (SEP) aircraft to a Caravan. Wyllie’s Perth based company, Wyllie Group, develops commercial, industrial and residential property and farming, as well as thoroughbred horses and adventure flights.
