Cessna has increased the speed of its Citation Ten business jet, which the company claims will make it the fastest civil aircraft in the world.
The aircraft new maximum speed is Mach 0.935-it was previously thought to top out at Mach 0.92.
"Through innovation, creativity and a desire to exceed our customers' expectations, the Cessna team took the already powerful Citation Ten and made it that much better," says Scott Ernest, Cessna's president.
The aircraft is estimated to cost about $22 million.
