Increased first-quarter Citation jet deliveries - 38 units in the period to the end of March versus 31 a year ago - helped Textron's Cessna division boost first-quarter revenue by a quarter to $669 million and cut losses to $6 million, from a $38 million deficit for the period a year ago. Cessna's backlog at the end of the quarter stood at $1.7 billion, down by $167 million from the end of 2011.
