First-half revenues at Cessna almost doubled compared with the first six months of last year, to $1.62 billion, says parent company Textron. The company has booked 153 net orders for Citation business jets so far this year – 85 in the second quarter – and production is being boosted from 240 of the business jets this year to 270-290 aircraft next year, of which 250 are already sold.
