Chelton Flight Systems has received certification for retrofit of its FlightLogic electronic flight-instrument system in the Cessna Citation 501.
The $187,000 upgrade reduces single-pilot workload, the company says, and two aircraft have already been delivered to customers.
The Chelton installation includes a GPS wide-area augmentation system, flight-management system, Litef fibre-optic-gyro attitude heading reference system, terrain awareness warning system, digital flight recorder and reduced vertical separation minimum air-data computers.
