Many hundreds of chemicals and plastics are used in the manufacture and maintenance of aircraft and a new service - at an air show for the first time - is available to handle and deliver stocks.
Chemchain, from B&K (Hall 4, Stand G4) offers total chemical management for aerospace manufacturers and airlines, with BA as an early customer.
"We buy on behalf of our customers and offer them stores management and they benefit from 'just in time' deliveries," says Keith Woolford, supply contracts manager for B&K."
The company, which handles more than 2,000 different chemicals and plastics, will also advise on different products.
