People Carl Chen has left suddenly as president of Sino Swearingen Aircraft (SSAC), which is two months away from beginning deliveries of its SJ30-2 light business jet. Confirming he has left the company, San Antonio, Texas-based SSAC says newspaper reports about Chen’s firing and a lawsuit he subsequently filed are “not accurate”. Ching-Chiang Kuo, who took over as chairman and chief executive last year, is running the Taiwan-backed company, SSAC says. Chen was appointed president and chief executive in September 2002 after being ousted as chairman, chief executive and president of Advanced Aerodynamics & Structures
