AerCap has secured funding for four new Airbus A330s from China Development Bank.
"China is becoming increasingly involved in international aircraft funding and China Development Bank is becoming recognised as one of the premier players in aviation financing," says Keith Helming, AerCap chief financial officer.
AerCap's A330s due for delivery in 2010 and 2011, says Helming, who describes the deal as a milestone.
The four aircraft are part of AerCap's order for 30 A330s, he adds.
AerCap is heavily involved in the China market, and owns 25% of Chinese lessor Dragon Aviation Leasing.
