Shanghai-based cargo carrier Great Wall Airlines plans to launch services to Atlanta in the USA.
The carrier has already been serving Anchorage, Chicago and Seattle in the USA and the Civil Aviation Administration of China says Great Wall has applied for traffic rights to also serve Atlanta in the USA.
Great Wall plans to serve the Shanghai Pudong- Anchorage-Atlanta-Chicago-Anchorage-Seoul-Shanghai Pudong route thrice-weekly starting in September and using a Boeing 747-400 freighter, it says.
