Mexico's first low-cost carrier expects to start flying in July with the launch of Click Mexicana. Formed as part of the Mexicana group, Click will use Aerocaribe staff, 10 Fokker 100s acquired from Mexicana, and nine domestic routes that Mexicana is ceding to it. Mexicana's subsidiary Aerocaribe will cease to exist. The formation of Click is part of Cintra's restructuring as it prepares to split itself into separate airline groups for sale. Click will operate as a typical low-cost business model, with point-to-point sectors not exceeding 90min, single-class configuration and fares 30% below the majors'.
