Tired of hearing about "killer drones?" How about dancing ones? French company AR Drone is showcasing its small Parrot unmanned aircraft in an energetic air ballet to the tunes of Daft Punk's Technologic, complete with mid-air twirls and flips. The small UAS is sold as a "video game" with a live component and can be flown indoors or out, depending on the configuration. For indoor use, the Parrot comes with a detachable styrofoam bumper. The aircraft can be controlled via an Apple iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad. If a call comes in while the vehicle is flying, it stabilises and lands automatically. AR Drone is in hall 4, stand E40.
