Cessna's Citation CJ4 has received European validation. The approval comes 14 months after the light business jet was granted US certification.
The CJ4 is the newest and member of the CJ family, which also includes the CJ2+ and CJ3. Production of the CJ1+ was halted earlier this year due to dwindling sales. The $9 million CJ4 has a range of 2,000nm (3,710km) and a top speed of 450kt (840km/h).
The aircraft has a take-off roll of 955m (3,130ft) at maximum take-off weight. The CJ4 is powered by two Williams International FJ44-4A full authority digital engine control engines and features a four-screen Collins Pro Line 21.
