Horizons Technology is developing a computerised maintenance system for the US Marine Corps Bell AH-1W Cobra attack helicopter under a US Naval Air Systems Command contract worth $740,000. The system will track and update maintenance data on 78 critical components on each helicopter and will enhance the AH-1W's "...safety, reliability and maintainability", says the San Diego, California-based company.
