German carrier Condor Berlin plans to add the Rockwell Collins Airshow 4200 moving map and in-flight information system to its fleet of Airbus A320 aircraft.
According to Flightglobal's ACAS database, Condor Berlin operates 12 Airbus A320s. The Airshow 4200 upgrades will occur between 2009 and 2011, says Rockwell Collins.
This upgrade will give Condor Berlin passengers "a wealth of information about their flight path - from detailed 3D maps, to information about locations along the way and at their destination", says Steve Timm, VP and general manager, Information Management Systems for Rockwell Collins.
Financial terms of the agreement between Condor Berlin and Rockwell Collins have not been disclosed.
