• BAE Systems/Rockwell Collins joint venture Data Link Solutions has been awarded a $36.6 million deal to provide spare parts until October 2010 for fighter datalinks in use with the Royal Saudi Air Force.
  • Boeing has received a US Army contract worth almost $470 million to conduct the Extended Block II remanufacture programme on its fleet of AH-64D Apache Longbow attack helicopters. Work under the award will conclude by 31 December 2010.
  • Lockheed Martin will receive around 15% of a potential $700 million, 10-year contract to provide logistics support for Michelin tyres used by US Air Force aircraft. Prime contractor Michelin has received an initial $368 million under the deal.
  • The Irish Air Corps has exercised a contract option worth €26 million ($33.8 million) to receive a further two AW139 utility helicopters from AgustaWestland during 2008. By mid-2007 the service will receive its second batch of two AW139s ordered in December 2004 under an initial four-aircraft deal.
  • The US Air Force has awarded Boeing a $29 million contract to install large aircraft infrared countermeasures systems on three of its C-40B (737) transport aircraft by December 2008.
  • Aerotest in the UK is to supply the Royal Australian Air Force with mobile engine test systems for use with the service's fleets of Lockheed Martin C-130J/K Hercules transports and AP-3C Orion maritime patrol aircraft. The company will deliver two systems from November, with these to conduct dynamic and diagnostic testing of complete propulsion systems following repair or overhaul.
  • SimAuthor will install its FlightViz data acquisition and playback system to support training activities by the US Army's 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment using Sikorsky MH-47E and MH-60K helicopters.
  • A MultiGen-Paradigm/Concurrent team is to provide image generators and software for two upgraded Lockheed Martin F-16 simulators at the US Air Force's Hill AFB, Utah.
