- Saab Avitronics has won a €10 million ($13 million)-plus contract to develop and manufacture a terrain-masking low level flight computer for the Airbus Military A400M transports being acquired by Germany. The software will be supplied by EADS Military Air Systems.
- The Brazilian air force has awarded Singapore Technologies Engineering's ST Aerospace Engines a $5.4 million repeat order to overhaul engines powering its Lockheed Martin C-130s.
- Harris has been awarded a three-year, $66 million contract by the US Navy for pre-production and testing of the Hawklink Ku-band common datalink system for the Sikorsky MH-60R light airborne multipurpose system helicopter.
- CAE is to provide the US Marine Corps with engineering support services for its Boeing AV-8B and Lockheed Martin KC-130 training devices. The five-year contract is worth around $10 million.
- The Spanish and Australian air forces are launch customers for the Virtual Training System (VTS) developed by the Lahav Division of Israel Aerospace Industries. The VTS provides embedded simulation of Lockheed Martin F-16 and Boeing F-18 controls and displays on trainer aircraft.
