Under a $2.2 million contract, Microvision is to build two helmet-mounted full-colour displays for flight demonstration of the US Army's helicopter Virtual Cockpit Optimisation Programme in 2004. Sikorsky has received a US Army contract to complete nine UH-60L Black Hawks as HH-60L Pave Hawk combat-rescue helicopters. Under a $113 million US Navy contract, the company will provide logistic support for SH-60 Seahawk dynamic components for 31 months. Pratt & Whitney will deliver 40 F119 engines in 2004 to power Lockheed Martin/Boeing F/A-22s under a $481 million US Air Force contract. Boeing has received a $27.6 million US Navy contract for requirements analysis and risk reduction on the F-18G electronic-attack derivative of the F/A-18E/F. Northrop Grumman is to upgrade the LN-20 GPS-augmented stellar/inertial navigation system in US Air Force Boeing RC-135 Rivet Joint intelligence aircraft with laser gyros.
