Controp, a leading Israeli manufacturer of payloads for unmanned air vehicles, has unveiled its newest system.

The company's HD Stamp sensor will provide a new capability for operators of small UAVs, including the possibility to survey power lines and perform other requirements where a high definition image is required.

Controp says it developed what it claims to be the first HD payload for a small UAV as a result of increased operational requirements. The company has previously supplied payloads for UAVs operated by the Israeli defence forces and some foreign countries.

The Stamp family of gyro-stabilised miniature payloads includes the D-Stamp with a TV camera for daylight applications, the U-Stamp with an uncooled infrared dual field-of-view camera for night-time applications and the continuous zoom lens-equipped U-Stamp-Z.
