Turkish carrier Corendon Airlines has expanded its partnership with Air France Industries KLM Engineering & Maintenance to cover additional CFM International CFM56 support.
The MRO group says that by 2018 it will service 12 CFM56-7Bs for Corendon and, for the first time, the carrier's Dutch-based subsidiary.
AFI KLM E&M adds that work under the contract began in July, with off-wing maintenance being conducted at the MRO provider's Amsterdam engine shop.
Spare engines will also be provided by AFI KLM E&M as part of the deal.
Under a similar contract, AFI KLM E&M completed engine on-wing maintenance and shop visits for Antalya-based Corendon in 2013 and 2014.
Flight Fleets Analyzer database shows that Corendon has 10 Boeing 737-800s, while Corendon Dutch Airlines has three 737-800s.
In addition to the engine MRO work, the airline previously selected AFI KLM E&M as component maintenance provider.
