US financial services company Dean Phillips has become the first corporate operator to take delivery of a Bombardier Challenger 300 super mid-size business jet. The handover marks the sixth delivery of the super mid-size jet since the aircraft entered service in January. The first five Challenger 300s are operated by Bombardier's Flexjet fractional ownership programme.

Turkish business jet charter company Air Sapphire has been heavily fined by the US government for flying a Gulfstream GIV to Russia without authorisation.
The Federal Aviation Administration has ordered inspections of the Gulfstream G500 and G600 fleet in response to a “quality escape” involving improperly installed engine-mounting hardware.
