Cessna has delivered "to an undisclosed customer" the first Citation Encore+, a seven- to 11-passenger upgraded version of the Encore. The new aircraft, certificated in December, has FADEC-equipped Pratt & Whitney Canada PW535B engines and a new integrated Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21 avionics suite.
Cessna says the two 3,400lb-thrust (15kN) engines give the mid-size business jet a boost in gross weight, range and passenger carrying ability, allowing for a full-fuel payload of 530kg (1,170lb), 150kg more than its predecessor.
In the cockpit, flight data from the Pro Line 21 integrated avionics is presented on three liquid crystal displays two for primary flight displays and one for the multifunction display. Other features include Pro Line 21 communication, navigation and surveillance radios.
