Dassault is raising the standard of in-flight service on Falcons with the launch of a new JAR OPS 1-compliant corporate crew training service.

Named Jade after the semi-precious stone considered a symbol of protection in ancient China, the Le Bourget-based service has been available to Falcon operators since May.

It emphasises Falcon safety procedures, which include review of pre-flight safety checklists, and deals with corporate aviation-oriented Crew Resource Management.

Efficient

Hands-on training is provided to ensure efficient handling of any emergency situation and first aid training.

Claude Frey, vice-president, Falcon customer service explains the objectives of the service: "With 40 years of corporate aviation knowledge, Dassault Falcon designed its corporate crew training to emphasise safety and service.

"One of the main objectives is to train Falcon cabin crew to adopt the safest and most effective behaviour in both normal and emergency situations."

Several flight attendants have already been trained and awarded the Jade certificate of training.

Says Jade instructor Isabelle Durand: "The training content and compliance with JAR OPS 1 is actually being reviewed by the French DGAC in order to qualify and approve the programme."
