Washington DC has picked Delta Air Lines over Continental for the new US route to Colombia because Delta will open a new gateway from Atlanta to Bogota. Continental already operates from Houston; American from Miami. Delta plans to start daily non-stops on 1 December. Colombia's AeroRepublica will launch four weekly charters to Orlando in November.
