Delta Air Lines is seeking authority to launch flights between Atlanta and Leon/Guanajuato, Mexico, from 19 December.
SkyWest Inc-subsidiary ExpressJet Airlines would operate the once-daily service on either a 65-seat Bombardier CRJ700 or a 76-seat Bombardier CRJ900, according to a filing with the US Department of Transportation (DOT) today.
Delta partner Aeromexico would place its code on the flights.
The Atlanta-based airline currently does not serve Leon/Guanajuato.
No carriers fly between Atlanta and Leon/Guanajuato, Innovata schedules show.
