Hands-on activities at Hall 4/B5 are drawing in the crowds to the Aeroquip-Vickers stand.

The attractions are live demonstrations of a new aerospace Target-Pro particle counter and interactive software.

Aeroquip and Vickers are exhibiting as Aeroquip-Vickers, a new name adopted in April 1997.

The two firms provide advanced fluid power, motion control products and systems, monitoring technology, aircraft muffler systems, aerospace ducting products, electronic cooling and quick-disconnect couplings as well as landing gear fluid systems.

Target-Pro is designed for use with phosphate ester fluids while the interactive software provides visitors with the chance to tour Aeroquip and Vickers organisations, products and systems.

Aeroquip is also displaying a tube fitting system and lightweight hose which is fitted on the F-22.

Media relations manager Peter Parsons says: "Rynglok is extremely reliable and easy to install. It is the first new total tube fitting system in 20 years for aerospace hydraulic tubing production and repair.

"The system provides lower total installed cost, is fire resistant, and is light weight being made of a light weight titanium alloy."
