Philip Saunders has been appointed head of marketing and sales for British Airways' German subsidiary, Deutsche BA. Saunders has worked for British Airways since 1990, with responsibility for the development and marketing of various BA routes into Central and Eastern Europe, holding the posts of district manager in St Petersburg and area sales manager for western Switzerland, among others. The company has also appointed Sabine Forest, now BA's Zurich-based area customer-services manager for Central Europe, head of its new customer-services department. Forest will also head a product-development group.
