B/E Aerospace has settled its long-running dispute with the US government over export sales to Iran Air during 1992 and 1995.

The dispute centred on whether seats were delivered to the airline's French refurbishment contractor before a formal export licence was issued by the US Department of Commerce (DOC).

B/E Aerospace (A1019) has pleaded guilty to the violation and entered into a consent order with the DOC under which the DOC has agreed to suspend a three-year export denial order on PTC Aerospace, a member of B/E's US Seating Products Group.
